The NOSHOK 101-FFS-EM1-HL3 is an in-line 1/8″ NPT mini needle valve in electropolished 316 stainless steel, configured with two non-standard options: an EPDM stem o-ring and a round knurled handle. The base code 101-FFS identifies a 100 Series hard seat valve with 1/8″ NPT female × female ports in stainless steel. EM1 replaces the standard FKM o-ring with EPDM, and HL3 replaces the standard handle with a 1″ round knurled knob.

The o-ring choice matters because it is the stem seal in contact with the process. EPDM is commonly specified for water, steam and many water-based fluids where FKM may not be the preferred elastomer; however, it is generally not suited to petroleum-based oils, so confirm compatibility with your media. The 1″ knurled handle has a low profile compared to a T-handle, reducing the chance of the valve being bumped open or closed in tight instrument spaces.

The 316 stainless steel body is rated to 10,000 psi at 200 °F. Other series specifications include a 0.172″ orifice, Cv of 0.42, a 316 stainless steel stem with rolled threads, a PTFE back-up ring and a patented metal-to-metal body-to-bonnet seal. Each valve is 100% helium leak tested to 1 x 10⁻⁴ ml/s.

This valve is designed for in-line mounting directly in tubing or piping runs. If you need to mount the same valve through a panel, the 101-FFS-PM2-EM1-HL3 adds two-nut panel mounting hardware.

Typical applications include instrument isolation on water treatment, washdown, chemical injection and analyzer sample systems where stainless steel is required. Mass Measure stocks this configuration for immediate shipment.
