Noshok 100-30/30-2-1-2-6-ST8 Pressure Transmitter, -30 inHg to 30 psig, 0.25% Accuracy (BFSL), 4 mA to 20 mA Output, 1/4 NPT Male, 1/2 NPT Conduit w/ 36 in Cable Attached, 0.8 mm SS Threaded Orifice
List Price $913.43 Original price was: $913.43.$730.74Current price is: $730.74.
The NOSHOK 100-30/30-2-1-2-6-ST8 is a compound-range transmitter: it measures from −30 inHg of vacuum through 0 up to 30 psig and converts the entire span to a single 4–20 mA signal. That makes it suitable for systems that alternate between vacuum and positive pressure, such as vacuum-assisted fill lines, degassing vessels, vacuum pump inlets and process tanks that are evacuated and then pressurized.
Two parts of the configuration set it apart from standard-range 100 Series models. First, the “2” in the accuracy position specifies ±0.25% full scale (BFSL), twice as tight as the standard ±0.5% grade. Second, electrical code 6 provides a 1/2″ NPT conduit connection with 36 inches of cable already attached. Conduit entry lets the wiring run inside rigid or flexible conduit, as many plant electrical specifications require, without the need to terminate a plug-in connector in the field.
The process connection is 1/4″ NPT male, and the ST8 option adds a 0.8 mm stainless steel threaded orifice to damp pressure fluctuations at the sensor. Because the range is below 300 psi, the measuring element is 316 stainless steel, matching the 316 stainless housing and connection.
Other 100 Series data: 4–20 mA 2-wire output with a 10–30 Vdc supply, response of 1 ms or less, stability within ±0.2% full scale per year, compensated range of 32–176 °F, 1,000 g shock and 20 g vibration ratings, and reverse polarity, over-voltage and short-circuit protection.
The 100 Series has been replaced by NOSHOK’s PT Series, which also offers compound ranges. Mass Measure can help match this part number to a current PT Series equivalent.
